We have always been inspired by this young Shoshone girl who made a difference, not only in 1805 but also over the 220 years since. We remember her compassion, her wisdom, her love for her people and her children, we remember her spirit.
Over the past 20 years she has continued to reveal herself in our time, and we continue our quest to share her with the world. This book, The Grass Maiden Sacajawea was created from historical accounts, traditions, and culture. It has a relevant message for the children of today.
